Schneezaun (2006-01-05)
Blick durch das Fenster über den verschneiten Zaun. Bisher habe ich mich gefragt, warum die Bildverarbeitung von der Digitalkamera mit dem RAW-Format auf den PC verlagert wird. Die Kamera mit ihren spezialisierten Chips erledigt die Arbeit schlieÃlich in Sekundenbruchteilen. Diese Aufnahme habe ich mit "Raw Developer" (Mac OS X) nachbearbeitet - einfach genial (nicht das Bild, sondern die Möglichkeiten). Das Programm nutzt den Doppelprozessor und Altivec, die gute Geschwindigkeit auf dem 3 Jahre alten G4 und die sachliche Benutzeroberfläche gefallen.
View by the window over the snow-covered fence. So far I asked myself, why the image processing is shifted with the RAW format from the digital camera to the PC. The camera with its specialized chips settles the work finally in fractions of a second. I overworked this image with "Raw Developer" (Mac OS X) - simply ingeniously (not the picture, but the possibilities). The program uses the double processor and Altivec, it pleases with good speed on that 3 years old G4 and with the clean user-interface.
